Shipping policy
1. Shipping Restrictions
ARGYROS does not ship to:
- Amazon fulfillment centers or warehouse addresses
- Military addresses, including APO, FPO, and DPO addresses
- Freight-forwarding warehouses unless approved in advance
- Offshore islands, overseas territories, or remote regions that are not serviced by our shipping carriers
- Addresses that cannot be verified or completed by the selected carrier
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
ARGYROS reserves the right to cancel and refund an order if the destination cannot be serviced safely or reliably.
2. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and Clearance Fees
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, value-added tax, goods and services tax, brokerage fees, customs-clearance fees, carrier handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless the customer purchases ARGYROS Duties & Taxes Protection with the same order, all such charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Customs rules, tax rates, exemptions, and duty-free thresholds vary by country and may change without notice. They may also depend on factors including:
- The destination country
- The declared value of the shipment
- The product category
- The country of origin
- The shipping method
- Local customs regulations
ARGYROS does not guarantee that an order will qualify for any duty-free or tax-free allowance.
Customers should consult the official customs authority in their destination country before placing an order when they require confirmation of potential charges.
3. Customs Clearance Responsibilities
Customers must provide any information or documentation reasonably requested by customs authorities, shipping carriers, or customs brokers.
This may include identification documents, tax numbers, proof of payment, authorization forms, or other import-related information.
Failure to provide the requested information may result in:
- Delivery delays
- Additional storage or handling fees
- Customs seizure
- Shipment abandonment
- Return of the shipment to ARGYROS
ARGYROS is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, government procedures, incomplete customer documentation, or unpaid import charges.
4. Duties & Taxes Protection
Customers may purchase ARGYROS Duties & Taxes Protection together with an eligible order.
When this protection has been purchased and confirmed, ARGYROS will arrange payment or reimbursement of eligible import duties, import taxes, and standard customs-clearance charges associated with that order, subject to the terms stated below.
Duties & Taxes Protection applies only to the specific order with which it was purchased and cannot be transferred to another order.
5. Returned or Undeliverable Shipments
A shipment may be treated as customer-related and returned or abandoned when the customer:
- Refuses delivery
- Fails to pay applicable duties, taxes, or clearance charges
- Fails to complete customs clearance
- Provides an incomplete or incorrect shipping address
- Fails to collect the shipment within the carrier’s required period
- Fails to provide requested identification or customs documentation
- Requests an address change after dispatch that cannot be completed
- Is unavailable after repeated delivery attempts
When a shipment is returned for a customer-related reason, ARGYROS may deduct the following from the amount originally paid:
- Original shipping charges
- Return shipping charges
- Customs duties and taxes
- Carrier handling charges
- Customs-clearance or brokerage fees
- Storage charges
- Address-correction fees
- Any other costs incurred in recovering or processing the shipment
Any remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the returned shipment has been received, inspected, and processed by ARGYROS.
Original shipping charges and Duties & Taxes Protection fees are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched or the service has been used.
If the return costs equal or exceed the refundable value of the order, no refund will be issued.
6. Lost, Seized, or Abandoned Shipments
ARGYROS is not responsible for shipments that are seized, destroyed, abandoned, or permanently withheld by customs authorities because of:
- Import restrictions
- Customer failure to complete customs requirements
- Customer failure to provide required documentation
- Refusal to pay charges not covered by Duties & Taxes Protection
- Incorrect or misleading information provided by the customer
Any refund in these circumstances will be determined after deducting all losses and expenses incurred by ARGYROS.
7. Customs Delays
Estimated delivery times do not include delays caused by customs authorities, security inspections, carrier processing, public holidays, severe weather, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of ARGYROS.
Customs clearance timelines cannot be guaranteed.
8. Policy Updates
Customs regulations and international shipping conditions may change at any time.
ARGYROS reserves the right to update this policy when necessary. The version published on the website at the time an order is placed will apply to that order.
